My Body Is Sacred: Tales of Health and Wellness for Little Girls

What if every girl grew up knowing her body is precious, powerful, and worthy of love? This heartwarming, empowering illustrated book designed to help girls understand and care for their bodies—inside and out. Through the relatable stories of Alayah, Mahaba, Laila, and Harmony, young readers learn about health, hygiene, boundaries, self-respect, and the deep connection between their body, mind, heart, and spirit.

Magic Everywhere

There is magic everywhere… if you know how to see it. Children notice the sparkle in puddles, the rhythm of rain, and the secrets in the soil. But too often, grown-ups miss the magic all around us. What if we saw the world the way our children do—curious, delighted, and fully alive? In this heartwarming picture book, a little one reminds us that everyday nature is bursting with wonder—if we only stop and notice. Through sensory-rich adventures and gentle storytelling, families are invited to slow down, tune in, and rediscover joy in the simple things: mud, seeds, stones, and stories whispered by the wind.

Julia Considine Pierce is an educator, healer, and advocate for the health and wellness of women and girls. Her new children’s picture book, My Body is Sacred, the first in a series of books about reproductive health and spirituality for girls and women across their lifespans. She has shared her expertise in the public school system, where she taught puberty and sexual health education in addition to teaching health at the local community college. Additionally, Julia has offered Sufi healing and teachings for over two decades, and she is a Healing Tao associate qigong instructor, inspired by Taoist practices that enhance female reproductive health. Julia is on the faculty of Her Mystery School, an international immersive program reclaiming deep feminine sovereignty. She lives deep in the Blue Ridge Mountains with her husband and bustling clan.

Kristy Johnson has always loved books, sharing special moments with young ones - and, of course, magic! A lifelong educator, her journey began as a child helping out in her mom’s special education classroom. She went on to teach preschool and elementary students, train teachers at the college level, and serve in various educational roles throughout her career. Her favorite role was teaching social-emotional skills to both teachers and children using puppets. Kristy is the mom of two children, three dogs, and one cat. She lives with her partner in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina where she loves to dance and hike and see the magic!
